It amazes me how easily we throw around the word “good”. I have had many a conversation as follows:

“How are you?”

“Good. You?”

“Good.”

“Good!”

“Good.”

From there we part ways, without ever really knowing the joys, struggles, and other intricacies of the word “Good” (which isn’t even proper grammar to begin with!) The word itself lacks depth and meaning… it has become an easy reply and an escape from real conversation. Granted, many times there isn’t enough time for a real conversation… but why not set aside time?

It is a question I am slowly starting to address in my own life…
