We live in a world of labels.
I am a Christian, a college student, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a Floridian, a MI winter survivor, a guitar player, a web design enthusiest, a thinker, a dreamer, a photography lover, a doer, an imaginator, a computer repairer, and a pretty good listener (when awake, anyway)
I am also disorganized, crazy, funny, smiley, silly, insane, creative, bored, interested, good intentioned, strong willed, and strong minded.
With all of this in mind, who am I really? I am a girl on the path of discovery. I firmly believe in a God who formed my life with a purpose that I have yet to comprehend. I believe He sent a savior for us all in the person of His son, Jesus. Otherwise, we really don’t have much hope in this world. None at all. Why love or care for others if human life has no value? I can’t think like that- I love people. Stereotypes and labels may fragment the mind, but I believe that each person- each interaction- can play an important role in who we are and how we think.
Through this blog I hope to shine a speck of light to a dark and dreary culture. Whether by remembering people who have impacted my own life or spotlighting memories or ideas that have changed my life or the world, I hope to show others that we each have value. No death goes unnoticed, no life goes without impacting the world around it.
